We host wine tastings every Thursday usually focusing on a region or producer! It's just a $5 donation to our featured non-profit, and for the months of February and March we are teaming up with Florence Crittenton South Carolina. If you are not familiar with this amazing organization, their mission is to provide housing, medical care, education, and other services to pregnant, parenting, and at-risk young women. They are a proud member of the national Crittenton Family of Agencies, together providing support and advocacy for girls and young women since 1883.

Wednesday , March 1, from 6 to 7:30, we are thrilled to have noted wine writer and James Beard Award winner Alice Feiring at the shop for a special event featuring her latest book, a memoir "To Fall In Love Drink This" – named a Best Wine Book of 2022 by The New York Times, Forbes, and The Washington Post. Tickets are $50/person and will include a signed copy of her book, a glass of wine, and snacks. Click below to buy a ticket or call the shop! 🍷BIG BOTTLE RAFFLE: 5:30-7:30PM. We are teaming up with Going Places nonprofit and a local wine collector to raffle off a 6 liter bottle of 1995 Elderton Old Vine Shiraz. The launch party for this raffle will be from 5:30 to 7:30, and all ticket buyers will receive a glass of wine or beer on the house! Tickets are $25, and proceeds go to Going Places who’s amazing mission is to provide bicycles to as many children in need as possible! (You can also stop by the shop and buy a ticket any time over the next month!)

Thursday evening wine tastings on the patio are BACK! Every Thursday 5:30-7:30 (weather permitting)! We are also offering 20% off these wines all week long!  For the tasting you can stop by and socially distance and taste on the sidewalk in front of the shop or grab a seat and some snacks -  It's just a $5 donation to our featured non-profit, and we are not surprisingly teaming up with one of our faves to kick it off: Charleston Promise Neighborhood! This is a non-profit committed to expanding access to resources and improving academic outcomes at four Title 1 schools in Charleston’s 'Neck' region, basically our neighborhood.

🎉4TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY: 12:30PM-3:30PM. It's our 4th Anniversary Party! We will be pouring all sorts of fun bubbly by the glass/$4 house beers, and we will have the Immortal Lobster food truck and a live jazz trio! Lots of happenings today! Charlie and Mike from Magnanimous Brewing are in the shop at 5 p.m. to release their collab beer -- Imperial Oast Crunch! An imperial stout loaded up with cinnamon, honey, and vanilla! EO is the only place in the state to buy this so stop by and grab yours! And there's a seriously amazing tasting of Fancy French Whites lined up for you this Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30pm!

Wine Tastings - It’s Thursday! We are still here and smiling through the tears and ready to raise some more $$ through our Thursday tasting!! Tonight is a tasting tour of Greece benefiting #readingpartnerssc … yesterday we were thrilled to hand over a check for nearly a thousand dollars to Camp Happy Days thanks to your April/May donations!! Giving back through our Thursday tastings has truly been one of our most favorite things — let’s keep the love going through the next couple of months — still plenty of tastings left to put on our calendar. They are drop-in events from 5:30 to 7:30 every Thursday and free with a $5 donation to our community partner!!

Please join us for our first ever wine and cheese class at EOX with our friends from Counter Cheese Caves (Eric & Nora). Tickets are $50, and the class will explore wine and cheese pairings via the concept: what grows together goes together! For example we will taste an Alpine style cheese with an Alpine wine! Counter Cheese Caves specializes in small creameries from the United States that take their inspiration from the old world! So we will taste domestic cheeses alongside old world wines! There will be four cheeses and four wines and plenty of information. Certified Sommelier Sarah O'Kelley will lead the the wine portion of the class. Seating is very limited. Note: Unfortunately, we cannot offer an industry discount on this one.

Blind Tasting Wednesdays...this is a mini class in your glass...we offer two classic reds (half glasses) for $10 all day long. We have a handy how-to "blind taste" sheet to make it more DIY than it’s been in the past. But we are also happy to answer any and all questions. Blind tasting is a fun way to learn a bit more about wine and about your own likes and dislikes!
