In Season 18 of The Bachelor, Renee and Bachelor Juan Pablo meet in the ancient city of Hoi An and rent bicycles. They explore the town and visit a clothing store, where she finds a traditional Vietnamese dress that she would wear the night. During dinner, Juan Pablo asked Renee about her own life. she tells him about the father of her child, although the relationship with her former lover was tough for her and her friends. At the end, Renee receives a rose.

Hoi An ancient town doesn't need more than a day spent there in my opinion. Go for the day while staying in Da nang, stay till the evening while you can go to one of the many bars for a drink. You could also have a latern boat ride or just wander the market.

Hoi An is just one of the prettiest places I have ever visited. By day it is a quaint city filled with cute cafes and stores, but by night the whole place comes alive and is lit with hundreds of beautiful, colourful lanterns.

Great food, get some customers clothes made (do it), there are beautiful lanterns everywhere at night, and it’s close to the beach! It is fairly touristy, but definitely worth a couple day venture. - lanterns - great street and market foods - tailoring! - beach!

A small town in Central Vietnam known for its history (including the overcoming of recurring floods) and for its lanterns that beautify the nights of the city. A great place for couples!

This little town in Vietnam stole our hearts. The night market, the bahn mi’s, the river that runs through it, the rice paddy fields, the beach and its laid-back vibes make it the perfect place to escape. Hop on a bike and explore this beautiful city!

One of my favourite parts of Vietnam, it has a different street of everything they sell for example the washing machine street. The street food is unbelivable and so are the surrounding areas like Halong Bay and Sapa. There is also something about Vietnamese food that I love.

Hoi An has so much to offer; history, beaches, nightlife, and food. Also, its an amazing place to get custom-tailored clothing and goods at affordable prices.

The simplicity of this city though now inundated with tourists, left me speechless. A city that still remains untouched through time and uniquely preserves tradition. This UNESCO Heritage site represents history and charm but most importantly it represents the warmth and friendliness of its people.

An unexpected gem! An adorable historic town with lanterns lining the streets, and many shops and restaurants. Located on a beautiful waterway, it's like the Venice of Vietnam!

A beautifully preserved city. Unfortunately, most of it is preserved for tourism and therefore packed, but it is definitely worth a visit.
