Fado Irish Pub

Our favorite Sunday tradition when we wake up in the city is going to Fadó for breakfast. Sometimes it’s quite quiet but if you’re there during a game you will be lucky enough to hear the uproar of chants for the futbol home team. The pub has two floors, the main is always open and there’s seating upstairs but upstairs is best when live bands are playing or a rugby game is on! They have a few flavors of mimosas that are all very enjoyable and usually what I stick to when I’m not drinking water to recover from the night before. My parents really enjoy the Fadó Irish Coffee. It is Tullamore D.E.W Irish Whiskey and brown sugar in hot coffee, topped with cream and cinnamon swirls. It’s pretty awesome to watch as they make the drink and design the cinnamon swirls on top. We also tried Magners Irish Cider and this will definitely be my new go to cider! When it comes to breakfast I tend to stick to the basics so my favorite is the American Breakfast. Best part of the meal is the Irish sausage though, and definitely a must have when visiting. My dad went with the Irish Breakfast and went crazy over it. It’s full of different meats that all are bursting with flavors that he describes as “mouth watering.” My mom chose the egg white omelet that was filled with spinach and feta cheese with a side of potatoes and she really loved it!! Mick served us when we sat at the bar and Erica has been our server before at the tables. Mikey taught us about Magners and Blumers cider, very interesting story! Steve one of the managers even took time to come talk to us and give us some advice as well about drinks to try and what not. Every experience we have had here has been wonderful.
