As a BIT of a history nerd (especially when it comes to WWII) this place holds a special place in my heart. The city is rich with graffiti and it doesn't hurt that bagels were also invented here. It's a super inexpensive trip with incredible cafes and bars.

As soon as we arrived we fell in love! The old war buildings still stand. The square is great for having a drink and watching buskers perform for the crowds

Krakow is one of my favorite cities in Eastern Europe. It is safe, lively and inexpensive. The old buildings and the food are both great!

This city really took me by surprise. Just loved the streets, history, and beauty- and how many young people were there. Lot going on

I may be bias, as it's my hometown but I love Krakow. I love it for its history, culture, hundreds of hipster cafes, bars, vegetarian/vegan restaurants. It's a proper party place

Drink vodka and eat pierogi in Kraków — You don't have to spend much to eat like royalty in Poland's most beautiful city.

(bus): highly highly recommend taking the 6 hour bus ride here it was one of my favorite places. Stay at the Little Havana Party Hostel they do really fun bar crawls every night and it is in such a good location. I would also highly recommend taking a day to go to Auschwitz while you’re there.

this city was so beautiful I felt like I had just walked into a story book. It had always been a dream of mine to eat authentic pierogis and visit Auschwitz. Easy to take a day trip to Auschwitz from here and very cheap. This city will NOT disappoint.

A surprisingly energetic and plentiful nightlife scene with expansive grassy banks by the river, and so many pierogies!
