The hidden city is still semi covered in Jungle, it was truly astounding. To be able to walk anywhere inside this hidden city was breath taking.

Angkor Wat is the most famous temple here, and definitely go for sunrise. But it's the lesser known temples in the area, like Banteay Srei and Bayon that are even more awe-inspiring

What a lot of people don’t realize is that Angkor Wat is just one of the many temples within the complex of temples, and that the temples are so spread out that they aren’t exactly walkable.

I have visited Angkor Wat twice now and still have not seen it all. The site is huge and absolutely stunning - make sure you go for 2 days minimum if you can and don’t forget to visit at sunrise! I promise that 4am wake up call will be worth it.

Angkor Wat is a temple complex in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It is a simply breathtaking place to visit. You can spend anything from 1 day to 7 days exploring the old ruins and temples founded in the 12th Century. This bucketlist experience is full of adventure and history.

Going to Angkor Wat was one of the best parts of my trip to Cambodia. I only got to tour the temples for one day, but could have spent a week exploring them. From astounding sights, to historical and cultural wonders. It’s a world wonder that can’t be missed.

Angkor Wat is one of the largest religious monuments in the world and one of the seven wonders of the world. A breakfast picnic for sunrise is the best, not only for the view, but to beat the crowds!

I went to see Angkor Wat at Sunrise but unfortunately, it was completely clouded over! That being said, it is was still one of the most incredible temples I've seen. The history behind it is fascinating!

Both the Rough Guide and Lonely Planet recommend Angkor Wot to be the number one place to visit in the world and I can see why. Watching sunset at the Temples is truly stunning. Its an experience that will stay with you forever. Make sure you rent a tuk Tuk for the day as the Temples are all far apart. We started at 4.30am and by 10am had seen five different temples. I could not recommend this experience enough.

So great to be back in #SiemReap #Cambodia and exploring the amazing #Angkor temples. 🇰🇭 Many things have changed since I was here last in 2014, except for these faces carved in stone which are 900+ years old! @deannasallao and I booked our tour through @kkday where we got paired up with a legendary guide named Lonh who literally took everywhere today in the blistering hot sun ☀️
