The organization of Seoul is fantastic and the lively nature of the city made it so enjoyable. There are so many fun districts to visit and museums to explore. I loved how there was so much to learn about South Korean history but many fun modern aspects to the city as well.

Seoul competes with Tokyo as my favorite city in Asia, and they have a lot of similarities. I like to call Seoul the fiestier, more ‘seoulful’ little sister.

Every single corner has great restaurants! You can dive into the culture by visiting the old palaces or Insa-Dong. Public transportation is awesome.

Hongdae is the most hipster and crowded nightlife area in Seoul. On any given night of the week, head over to Hongdae to see young Korean trends and fashion at it’s finest. The entire area is more-or-less a college campus, because there are 4 big Universities surrounding it. Everything in Hongdae is much cheaper than other parts of Seoul because places cater for student budgets. In Hongdae, there are more bars and clubs than I can count and it’s always packed with people until morning. Many street vendors local Korean BBQ restaurants stay open 24 hours, so make sure to get some drunk food after the night!

Made my dreams a reality and had Korean barbecue for the first time the most authentic way possible. The city itself reminds me of every other big city but it’s culture is really cool and so is the DMZ zone where you can see North Korea
