Life seems very calm and good in Netherlands. I always feel very safe when walking around in any town and i love the bike lanes there, very easy to cycle everywhere.

Windmills and long green lands surrounded by small creeks and rivers. Capital of waffles and good taste in architecture.

Amsterdam and Rotterdam are two major cities in this country that are famous for tourism. Believe me this has much more to offer. Zaanse Schans (famous for its windmills), Giethroon (a town with almost no-car), Mudein Castle are just to name a few. And if you are here at the right time, you will be blown away by their tulip fields.

Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Delft and Leiden all are special in their own way, but all offer historic districts packed with beautiful buildings and canals of all kinds. Watch out for bikers!

Rainbow fields of tulips and great cheese. The first two things which came to my mind about Holland. Go to Keukenkof during tulip season and get ready to be blown away by its beauty. Take a boat cruise on the Amsterdam canals and don't forget to try the cheese from the local stores. The Netherlands is also home of some impressive museums hosting large collections of art: eg. Dutch National Museum, Van Gogh museum, Anne-Frank etc.
