The iconic center of Venice. It is so dramatic and breathtaking you just might cry. If you are lucky enough to stay in Venice for a few days, wake up just before sunrise and come to St.Marks Square when it is quiet and nobody is around. Italy wakes up late, and it is most beautiful when you can experience it all to yourself.

Bond and Vesper head to Venice in the film Casino Royale, sailing their yacht along the Canal Grande between the Accademia and Rialto bridges. But even this is not so simple as it seems. You won't be able to stay at the venerable luxury hotel with its spectacular view of Piazza San Marco.
