Italy gives landscapes to whose beauty you must give up. Think of sunflower fields, like those of Marche and Tuscany: Van Gogh would go crazy!

Italy was once the center of the world, and if you're a history or food buff, it might still be. The long-established Italian culture varies slightly from region to region, with variations in dialect, cuisine, and landscapes. My personal favorites were Milan, the Lago Maggiore area, the Dolomites, and Palermo in Sicily.

Spritz: This drink is the most poular in Italy. Spritz is made with Aperol, which crafts each drink with an unique flavor. Spritz is the perfect drink to enjoy under the Italian sun.

Beyond the exquisite cities of Venice, Florence, and Rome, are Cinque Terra and the lesser known regions of Puglia and Umbria where you can stay in a white thatched cottage, and eat truly traditional food without the craziness of tourism. Every part of Italy is incredible, but the lesser known regions are my aboslute favorite.

Without doubt my favourite country to visit. Each region so unique and different to the other. You will find a vast difference between north and south. Sicily (without being biased) is a region definitely worth exploring.

Spaghetti aglio e olio -- In the land of pizza and pasta, a good go-to vegan dish is spaghetti with garlic and olive oil. Made with all fresh ingredients.

Venice? Rome? Pasta? Cheese? Wine? There is no place that speaks so fully to my favorite things, than Italy. Visit the historic colloseum in Rome, the canals in Venice, then into the smaller towns like Positano or the village Vernazza, part of the National park Cinque Terre.

Italy has it all, from incredible mountanous views of the dolmonites, cliffside towns of the Lake Como, to sweeping rolling hills of Tuscany. Their cities are steeped in history, beautiful architecture and differ so broadly from one to the other.

The food, the wine, the fashion, the cars, the gelato, the culture, everything. I did not like pasta until I came here and was able to taste the fresh, simplicity of a classic pomodora and the savory and satisfying cabonara. Great wines for cheap prices.

I have recently done a road trip down the Amalfi Coast and then finished in Rome, Florence and Venice. Italy is notoriously expensive but we managed to do it on a budget (and I definitely had my fair share of aperol spritz!!)

Nothing compares to italian food. Nothing. I could easily recommand this country for the food only. But there is a lot more to be explored in Italy, a land rich in art, history, architecture. Whether you go to Milan, Venice, Como or Capri it will exceed your expectations in so many ways. The natural sights throughout Italy, especially along the coastlines are simply stunning.
