A country where I could once in my life experience being tall, as the shortest women in the world are Guatemalan! Not the reason why it’s one of my favorite countries though :) Guatemala offers a lot from ancient Mayan ruins to rainforests, volcanoes, and lakes.

A wonderful organization called Quetzaltrekkers runs multi-day hikes through the Guatemalan highlands; all profits support local street children.

A hidden gem of a country - Guatemala has more to offer than you think. We have not been to many places but something pulls you back in wanting to explore more. Tikal is interesting and Semuc Champey is a paradise hidden. Its a country with a lot of mountains and lush green forests.

Just a few hours from El salvador, guatemala has everything!! antigua guatemala is one of our favourite places where you can walk and find local craftmandship and a lot of restaurants!

I lived here for one of the best summers in my life. Antigua, Lake Aticlan, and Tikal are all must sees. Go to the Patron Saint Festival in Antigua and thy to climb the pole! 🙃
