The Party at the Point happy hour concert series is back for the 2023 season, taking place Friday evenings from May 5th to July 7th. This family-friendly event is hosted on the beachfront of Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina and features live music, food, and drinks. Free parking is available along the road leading into the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina. An Uber and Lyft drop off area will be available to all guests to use, located 50 yards from the entrance. Spring break is just around the corner, and while the parents are away, the kids will play! The Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina will once again host its popular Mini Mariners Camp during the weeks of April 3rd and April 10th, from 9 am to 1 pm. Registration is open to the public and all children ages 5-10 are welcome to join. Each day of both weeks will have a theme that is sure to entertain the mini mariners. Mondays will feature Beach Olympics with sack races, dodgeball, relays, and resulting participation medals. Other days will feature fitting ‘under the sea’ games including sending a message in a bottle into the neighboring harbor as well as science experiments and rainbow-themed activities. Camp includes games, crafts, swimming, and lunch with pricing ranging between $60-$70 per day or $275-$325 for the week.

⛸ICE SKATING AT THE POINT: Now thru Feb 1st, enjoy ice skating and tons of holiday activities at Patriots Point! There is no admission, and ice skating costs $12 (skate rental included). Or, bring two canned goods to donate and skate for only $10! There will also be tons of Christmas lights, a bouncy house, bubble tents to cozy up and stay warm, s'mores and other snacks, and drinks for purchase! This event is open from 3pm-8pm every Thursday-Sunday thru Feb 1st.

We stayed at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina, the hotel looks really nice and cozy, we had a room which overlooks to the marina and the city center of Charleston. For two days everything felt perfect, the city, the hotel, the dinner what we had. Unfortunately we were not able to use the facilities of the hotel, while we basically stayed in the room just to sleep, other than that we were exploring the city and the neighboring area.

⚓️OVERTURNED VESSEL: Around 10:40 this morning a 120’ dredge barge was reported as capsized in the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina. The barge has a maximum of 1,000 gallons of fuel on board and a boom has been deployed to contain it should it leak.
