RED BARAAT - Red Baraat is a pioneering band from Brooklyn, New York. Conceived by dhol player Sunny Jain, the group has drawn worldwide praise for its singular sound, a merging of hard driving North Indian bhangra with elements of hip-hop, jazz and raw punk energy. Created with no less a purposeful agenda than manifesting joy and unity in all people, Red Baraat’s spirit is worn brightly on its sweaty and hard-worked sleeve.

Can't Feel My Face: 2010's Dance Party - You know you have no guilt about musical guilty pleasures. (Don't even deny it.) Neither do the CAN'T FEEL MY FACE DJs, the masterminds behind the wildly successful NOSCRUBS: 90s Dance Party and HOT IN HERRE: 2000s Dance Party. From 2Pac to Nirvana to Rihanna, the parties play your favorite chart-topping hits, underground classics, and guilty pleasures from the past three decades, turning sold-out venues up and down the East Coast into sweaty, all-night sing-along sessions. No Scrubs and Hot In Herre are the largest and longest-running 90s and 00s parties in America. Rather than host them weekly or monthly, they insist on keeping the parties occasional to build excitement and as guilty a pleasure as your favorite summer pop anthem. At CAN'T FEEL MY FACE, you can expect to party to Adele, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers, DJ Khaled, Drake, Jason Derulo, Jay Z, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Kendrick Lamar, Liam Payne, MajorLazer, Maroon 5, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Pharrell Williams, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Zedd, 2 Chainz, and everyone 2010s, all night long. Get ready. We're looking forward to seeing you on the dancefloor!

Live tonight - saxofshaolin ft Royal KhaoZ + Brass Queens: saxofshaolin, is the confluence between East and West. As a saxophonist, composer, and bandleader, he seeks to merge the musical lineages of his upbringing. He fuses American, South East Asian, and Afro-Caribbean music and creates music that sounds like a dance between the ancestors of the three traditions. This is not only an effort to experiment with music but also to find common ground between far-flung cultures. It's an approach that has developed, instinctually, from his experience as an immigrant and a Hakka Chinese, a nomad by blood. His music is simultaneously traditional and contemporary. Equally aggressive and tasteful. Always danceable and spiritual.

LaMP — the project featuring Trey Anastasio Band/Soule Monde band mates, keyboardist Ray Paczkowski and drummer Russ Lawton, and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead guitarist Scott Metzger. In case it’s not obvious, the band takes its name from the first letters of each members’ surname. The trio debuted at a show in December 2018 at Nectar’s in Burlington, Vermont. They then reconvened last summer and held recording sessions with Roger Stauss at Sugarhouse Soundworks in Burlington.

The Headhunters - 50th Anniversary: Few bands can boast a history as fortuitous and storied as The Headhunters. That history began back in 1973 when iconic musician Herbie Hancock formed the Headhunters - saxophonist/clarinetist Bennie Maupin, bassist Paul Jackson Jr., drummer Harvey Mason, and percussionist Bill Summers. What each member of the Headhunters brought to the table helped forge a timeless legacy and history that most bands can only dream of. Their blend of jazz with funk and rock reached millions of fans of jazz, rock, funk, and R&B alike. With over a million albums sold, the band’s legacy would inspire musicians of every genre for years to come, be sampled by various rap artists throughout the '80s and '90s, and influence countless musicians' styles of playing today. The Headhunters’ impact remains a global phenomenon, and their time with Hancock proved to be a life changing experience. The band has released 6 more full length albums including "Thrust" in 1974 with the addition of drummer Mike Clark, struck out on their own in 1975, without Hancock's involvement, on "Survival of the Fittest” and on "Straight from the Gate” in 1977. After a twenty year hiatus they reunited in 1998 with Hancock for the Verve album "Return of the Headhunters" with Clark, Jackson, and Summers performing as the Headhunters actively touring until the March 2021 passing of Jackson. In addition to original members Clark and Summers, the line up of the band consists of Chris Severin on bass, Donald Harrison on saxophone and Kyle Roussel on piano.

Ariel Posen's music occupies the space between genres. It's a rootsy sound that nods to his influences — heartland rock & roll, electrified Americana, blue-eyed soul, R&B, Beatles-inspired pop — while still moving forward, pushing Posen into territory that's uniquely his own. After earning international acclaim (as well as a Western Canadian Music Award nomination for Breakout Artist of the Year) with his solo debut, How Long, he turns a new corner with 2020's Headway, an album whose themes of evolution, growth, and positive progress are reflected in the song themselves.

One of my favorite music venues in/around NYC. $20 will often get you access to a nationally touring act. Alcohol is fairly priced, and the food is surprisingly good (soul food), although expensive. The venue is kept in good condition. This is not a divey place. And they really have bowling.

Zaven is a vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Los Angeles, California. He believes in the power of improvisation as an access point to greater self discovery and connectivity in community. Improvisation forces us to be in the moment; it forces us to believe in ourselves and the work we’ve put in to get us here. Growing up as a hip hop lyricist, poet and music producer, Zaven uses improvisation extensively in his work. Honed through the study of jazz, Zaven uses a combination of composed and freestyle songwriting, creating intricate lyrics and beats, as well as leading ensembles, all in the moment.
