Lucerne is famous for its 14th century “Chapel Bridge” that is built over River Reuss in the middle of the city. It is an old city which means it is rich in culture, history, and festivals. Visit Lucerne during the Fasnacht Carnival at the end of winter, the streets are wild with mulled wine, food vendors, people in costumes, and parades.

Experience the Swiss Alps in Lucerne! Lucerne is nestled among the Alps and along Lake Lucerne. Cruise on the lake to see the Alps from the bottom, or take trains up tot the top to see Lucerne below!

Float away your problems on a cruise in the lake. Hike to the peak of any mountain surround the city and enjoy the views. Any time of year is perfect to visit.

everyone I knew went to switzerland for the hang gliding, but I went for the lush mountains and beautiful lakes. This country will definitely cost you are arm and a leg to visit (even Mcdonalds is expensive!!!), but the price comes with the cleanliness, beauty and quality of life. I HIGHLY recommend making it out to this small, cute town in Switzerland if you are driving through the country.
