Impromptu visit to #Dubai on a 20 hour layover. Just shot a crazy, adrenaline-packed video seeing “how much fun I can have with $100.” It’s my second time in #Dubai(first visit was in 2012) and it’s bizarre to see how much this city has developed. Dubai is the future 🇦🇪 — oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention that behind me is the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, sitting at 830 meters on the sky. That’s almost 1 kilometer tall!!

Okay, so strolling along the branches of a palm-shaped island doesn't exactly count as a hike. But, the dusty trek to the top of 1,934-meter Jebel Jais, the highest point in the UAE, does. The summit boasts views of multiple mountain ranges and sandy beaches. Plus, you can take the world's longest zipline back down.

If you haven't been to the City of Superlatives, then now's the time. It's where you will find the biggest of everything such as Burj Khalifa (world's tallest building), Dubai Mall (second largest mall in the world), Dubai Fountain (world's largest performing fountain). While Dubai is an expensive city to visit, you can still explore it without spending so much. Buy a NOL card (use it to pay for public transport) and use it to commute your way around the city.
