The Queen’s Staircase site is one of the most historical landmarks in Nassau. The 66 steps were carved out of solid limestone rock by African slaves in the Bahamas in the 1790s and later renamed to honour Queen Victoria.

This staircase is one of the more historic landmarks on the island and will be your passageway to fort fincastle and a shortcut to get to bennet's hill. If you are into history then you need to visit this place because you will truly appreciate the story behind it.
