this place is AMAZING; either cab it up or walk up there; its far, passed the Ponte Vecchio; it has an amazing FULL view of the city; I now call this view my happy place; it was absolutely beautiful and peaceful; bring a bottle of wine and enjoy with your friends at sunset. If there is one thing you do in Florence MAKE THIS IT

Sunset at the steps. Buy a pizza, and bring a bottle of wine, enjoy the live music and atmosphere as you watch the sun go down over the city.

lookout point you can see whole city, perfect for sunsets Bring wine and cheese and just hang Literally went whenever I had time

walk up there and watch the sunset on the steps and bring wine with friends! Go like an hr before sunset because it gets really crowded but it was my favorite thing to do on warm nights because it overlooks the whole city and it’s so beautiful
