One of the most dramatic & incredible churches in all of Europe. Connected to the Doge’s Palace, you must save a few hours to visit both and explore the rich history and culture. It is most beautiful than words can describe!

The St Mark’s Basilica was built in the 9th century and is one of the best known examples of Italo Byzantine architecture with the gold mosaics and the shape of the church. It lies in the eastern end of the Piazza San Marco and it deserves a visit when you stop in Venice!

A beautiful Italian Byzantine cathedral that should not be missed. Remember to cover your shoulders when entering or you will need to rent a scarf to wear.
