Battery Spencer
My favorite places to view the iconic Bridge is Battery Spencer and Presidio Park (the opposite side of bridge as Battery Spencer). These views are gorgeous any time of day. You just need to pray it's a clear day, which can be rare in San Francisco.

Twin Peaks
One of the best views of San Francisco is Twin Peaks. Here you can get a 360 view of the entire city. Great place to see the city light up at night.

Tartine Bakery
You can usually expect long lines in this award winning bakery as early as 7am but the wait is absolutely worth it. My favorites are the morning bun, banana cream pie and break pudding.

Alcatraz Island
I don't usually enjoy overly tourist places, but I always make an exception for Alcatraz. The audio tour brings the place to life, and you can really imagine what it was to be on the inside. Tickets usually sell out 2 or 3 months before, so make sure to reserve a spot in advance.

Mission Dolores Park
My favorite place to have a picnic and people watch in San Francisco. Dolores is in the Mission on a hill so you can see great views of the city. The Mission is also one of the places that gets the most sun, so the weather is usually great for a picnic.

Ferry Building
The Ferry Building is the best place to have a taste of the best local products. Make sure to also check out the farmer's market every Saturday Morning next door

Lands End Trail
One of the best hikes in San Francisco with many costal views of the city and views of the bridge as well. It's an easy 4 mile hike. It can get very busy on weekends, so make sure to arrive early to avoid the crowds.

16th Avenue Tiled Steps
The colorful 16th Ave tiled steps are 163 beautiful community funded and decorated steps. Residents contributed to this stunning display and also helped put them in.

Alamo Square Park
One of my favorite picnic spots with a view of the city. This is also where the Pink Laidies homes are, otherwise known as the Full House house.

La Taqueria
One of the best Mexican food you'll eat! They've won the Best Burrito in the US titles and their crunchy tacos are absolutely amazing.
