Cisternino
My hometown, a pretty village in the hills. The lovely ond town is great for a summer stroll and you can stop for a meal in one of the little restaurants or for a drink in the 'piazza'.

Alberobello
A UNESCO herritage site - have you ever seen a 'trullo'? It's a conical stone buiding a bit like something out of a cartoon. In Alberobello you can walk through the streets of trulli and stop in the shops to buy some souvenirs.

Monopoli
One of my favourite places in the area. Such a pretty town on the sea with a lovely fishing port. Get lost in the back streets and take lots of pictures then stop for a drink overlooking the sea.

Polignano a Mare
A little white old town on a spectacular cliff overlooking the sea. It's easy to reach by train and also has a lovely little beach.

Know as the 'white city' this amazing old town with its lovely cathedral is a great place to discover in summer time. And the sandy beaches are just a few kilometers away!
