Ka'au Crater
A hard and long hike (5 miles) so start in the early morning to avoid getting caught in the dark like we did. But the views from the top of the crater are unbeatable.

Diamond Head
one of the most popular hikes (because it is short and relatively easy) about 1.5 miles total but it has amazing views of waikiki beach and it great for sunset!

30-45 minute hike, very steep but panoramic views of the island.

Moanalua Valley Trail Start (Kulana'ahane)
Starway to heaven itself is highly illegal and you run the chance of a $1000 fine, but the backway via the Moanalau Valley trail, while a very challenging hike, is legan and you still get the astonding views, just dont go all the way down the stairs on the backend because there is always a security guard at the start of the stairs.
