Varanasi
I've always had this travel goal to recognize the point in which I feel the absolute furthest from my home in Texas. Where sights, smells, cultures, people are all completely foreign to anything I've known. Varanasi was this for me. My experience on the Ganges was both haunting and inspirational. Life and death are taken to the extreme in this ancient, highly spiritual city. A perception shattering destination.

Patagonia
“Truth be told, Patagonia is as serene as it is formidable. Catch the notoriously cold winds on a winter day and it'll change your perception of windchill. But life adapts. We adapted, and were given an amazing adventure…” -Eric Nutt, Travel Companion.

Ghana
I had the opportunity to spend the night in a remote village called Torgorme in Ghana, where I participated in a naming ritual, climbed trees in the jungle with kids to pick fresh fruit, danced around a fire under the stars, observed an intensely spiritual funeral, and slept next door to the village ghost's camp. An unforgettable experience in a beautifully vibrant and welcoming country.

Old Bagan
“Fell asleep on the bus in Yangon. Woke up in a different universe called Bagan…We climbed up this massive stone Pagoda in the dark. The sky slowly turned purple, revealing the silhouettes of dozens of ancient stone pagodas. As it got lighter the sky turned yellow and the ground stirred with morning mist. Roosters crowed. The sun peeked over the mountains. Balloons slowly ascended above the temples. Primitive. Untouched. Alien. Surreal” - Travel Journal 3/11/17

Cape Town
"My playground. My favorite place. Where two of the world's great oceans collide and meet the land's edge. The city rises up at this waterfront and is marbled between towering mountains and national parks. This landscape gave me the best week of my life. an absolutely, undeniably, unforgettable adventure with the coolest people.." -Travel Journal 4/9/17

Füssen
I spent three days skating from castle to castle in this wintery dreamland. Would most closely equate to Narnia. Frozen lakes, snowy mountains, church steeples, and incredible Bavarian food and beer.
