Telluride
With a high end mountain village, and high altitude landscape, Telluride is a dream town. With access to some of the best hiking, mountain biking, and skiing in the rockies, it's hard not to have the time of your life in this adventure oasis.

Silverton
I was stranded here for a week after my Jeep broke down, and I had a blast. Silverton is a super high altitude, old-timey mining town nestled in the San Juans. WIth a quiet, isolated feel, it's great for a more quiet mountain escape.

Silver Plume
My favorite post-ski stop on I-70. Silver Plume, with a population of only 177, is a tiny gravel road town in the Front Range with one of the coolest bars in the world - Bread Bar. They've got the perfect post-skiing drink menu, live music on the weekends, and are super dog friendly. If Bread Bar is not open, my next go to is Plume Coffee Bar. Great place to warm up and drool over the 360 mountain views.

Georgetown
Another spot right off of I-70, I like this town for its old-time western feel and it's access to Guanella Pass. Guanella pass is an awesome drive, has great camping, and puts you right where you need to be to hike one of the Front Range's most popular 14'ers, Bierstadt. Guanella Pass Brewery is one of my favorite beer stops.

A classic. Aside from being a ski paradise, I love this town for it's fun nightlife.

The Buena Vista
BV has direct access to some of the most extreme adventures the CO Rockies offer. I've done a lot of white water rafting through outfitters in BV - five star experience every time. Collegiate Peaks are my favorite hiking area in Colorado. Sporting multiple monstrous 14'ers just a quick drive away, Buena Vista is an adventure playground.

Manitou Springs
Cool shops, super nice people, great food, and a view of iconic Pikes Peak. For a wild leg workout, check out the Manitou Incline Hiking Trail.
