Game Creek Club
Fancy and fun dinner on top of the mountain! You have to take the gondola and then a snow cat to the top so this is not the usual dining experience. Amazing views and equally rockin food.

Tennessee Pass Cookhouse
A truly unique experience. Park at the Tennessee Pass mountain lot, then rent Nordic skis or hike the 1 mile into the woods to the Cookhouse, which is a huge yurt restaurant. Simple tasty menu and extremely fun friendly staff make this yurt with a view a really fun way to spend an afternoon. Call ahead for reservations. So so fun year round and probably the coolest dining experience you'll ever have in the woods at 10,800 ft.

The George
Don't let the name fool you - this is not a bougie upscale cocktail bar in a swanky hotel. Is it an awesome dive bar with good bar food, buckhunter, and other fun bar games.

Willow Creek Par 3
Surely a good par 3 golf course but I've never played golf here. In the summer you can play "soccer golf" on the course. Maybe the most fun I've ever had on a golf course. Fun afternoon drinking activity.

The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch
Never skied here but have apres skied here and it's great. Fancy hotel with a great view. The seating out back has a great view, live music, and heat lamps. Perfect setting for a few beers and some heavy food. Absolutely get the skillet nachos as they have cheese throughout and yummy pulled chicken on them. After the sun sets go inside and continue the experience next to the fireplace.

The 10th
Fancy version of mid-ski day lunch whose name is an homage to the famous Army unit, the 10th Mountain Division, which pioneered the artic and mountainous military training the US has implemented and deployed more than 20 times around the world.

Vail Brewing Company
Two locations. The one outside Vail proper is pretty big with plenty of seating and a fire. It also has the famous Rocky Mountain Taco truck permanently parked outside the front door - yum! The amber ale was particularly good as was the kombucha on tap.

Vendetta's Restaurant
Best pizza spot in town especially if you just crushed a few hours on the slopes. Unlike most other sit down pizza restaurants you can order the speciality pizzas by the slice. Delicious local beers on draft, can and bottle. If it's warm out ask for a table on the patio. Good for apres and people watching.

7 Hermits Brewing Company
Really great brewery in downtown Vail. Taste test everything but if you're feeling adventurous do the "fire it up green chili lager" which has big bite and is unlike any beer I've ever had. If you want to dull it down a bit, ask them to 50/50 mix it with Charlie Brown - a malty brown ale. They also serve breakfast, savory and sweet crepes. Cool spot.

The Spa at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail
Exactly the high level of service you'd expect from a Four Seasons property. I haven't been tl the spa before but safe to say it's among the best in the area. The notable feature of this particular hotel is the hot chocolate. Absolutely perfect for apres. If you're not hitting the slopes again maybe ask for a lil booze in it. Yum!

Blü Cow Café
Fun spot for beers and Swiss hot dogs right in downtown Vail. Friendly staff who will help you pair your beer or cocktail with your dog to maximize flavor. Perfect for a hefty meal after a long day (or morning!) on the slopes. Also a fun night spot thanks largely in part to the tiny piano that gets some action.

Garfinkel's
Cool fun apres bar in Lions head near Vail village. It's got a great outdoor space, delicious American pub food, and killer views of the mountains.
