Papaya Playa Project
A very fun and beautiful beachfront hotel. The bungalows were minimalist but cozy and comfortable - don't need much when the beach is 10 feet from your room door! Some nights there is some serious clubbing if you're up for nightlife.

Gitano Tulum
Upscale fun cool restaurant that feels like you're dining in the middle of a jungle. So trendy they even opened a pop up version of one in Soho in NYC for the summers. Don't even remember what I ate there just remember it was a really fun experience and unique ambience. Turned into more of a club vibe after 10.

Cool casual laid back beachfront restaurant with incredible local seafood. Most afternoons they have live music and tons of seating on tbe beach. Truly a great spot for an afternoon lunch and hang session with friends.

Casa Jaguar
Cocktails! Didn't dine here but the fish looked amazing. Everyone in Tulum will mention this place. It is pretty cool. Same jungle vibe as my other nearby restaurant rec: Gitano. Sit at the bar, try a local artisinal cocktail and just trust the bartenders. Very fun and authentic.
