Not so touristy, but super cheap to eat and great value on places to stay. Great for long or short weekends away

Because it is insanely beautiful for as far as the eye can see, and extremely cheap. The people are very friendly and it’s so easy to hire a car here and explore Bled, Vintgar Gorge. Take the Virsic Pass for some adventure, and skiing in winter is also a must do
