Thong Lo
Another upscale area of Sukhumvit with a more residential appeal. Thong Lo has some of the trendiest coffee shops, cafes, and bars in the area.

CRAFT (Silom)
Another upscale area of Bangkok outside of the popular Sukhumvit area. Silom has more of a businessy vibe, but still boasts some of the best bars, clubs, and upscale restaurants in BKK.

Bean Around Cafe
Also located on Sukhumvit Road, the Asoke area has something for everyone. Terminal21 shopping mall, a variety of less expensive international restaurants, and many clubs and bars catering to locals and tourists.

Nana Plaza
Nana Plaza itself has quite a seedy reputation, but some of the best Indian, Pakistani, and other Middle Eastern restaurants in the surrounding areas. Particularly on the notoriously crowded Soi 3.

W District
W District seems to be missing from many of the Bangkok blogs I frequent. It's a relatively new place, reminiscent of some of the trendier hawker centres in Singapore. You can get Greek food, Mexican food, Thai food, Pizza, wine, cheap beer, and so much more all in one place.
