Cafe Monarch

We have never been to Café Monarch. BUT we have heard from so many people how amazing it is. It is a family-owned and operated restaurant that cooks up exquisite, fixed 4-course meals. Our understanding is that it's a very pricey restaurant but the perfect dishes, exemplary service, and upscale dining atmosphere make it worth the money.

Roaring Fork

We really enjoy this restaurant if you are looking for something higher class with a cozy atmosphere. Their steaks are phenomenal and the low-lit, Southwest vibe makes this the perfect place to relax and enjoy some fine dining.

Roka Akor - Scottsdale

If you are looking for some amazing sushi, look no further. Roka Akor serves up amazing sushi and other wonderful Japanese-inspired foods. It's also another really great place to grab a mouth-watering steak. One thing to note - this is another restaurant on a bit on the pricey side, but it's well worth the splurge.

Grimaldi's Pizzeria

What kind of people would we be if we left pizza off our list. While there are tons of great pizza places in Scottsdale, our favorite and constant go-to seems to be Grimaldi's. They serve perfectly baked brick-oven pizza, and the toppings are always perfect. We have a great time every time we visit.

Coconut's Fish Cafe

Coconut's originally opened in 2009 on the island of Maui. We actually both got a chance to visit the original location while on our Honeymoon back in 2017. They have the best fish taco ever (and it's HUGE). The location we visit in Scottsdale reminds us of the one in Maui and the food tastes just as fresh. A perfect place to grab a quick and yummy bite to eat.

By far the best burgers in the Phoenix area…and quite possibly the best burgers we've EVER had anywhere. There are so many unique burgers to choose from and each of them packs a flavorful punch.

Sugar Bowl Resort

The Sugar Bowl is a Scottsdale favorite. It is an old school diner and ice cream parlor that has been open since 1958. We've never actually eaten the food here but we have had shakes, banana splits, and tons of ice cream. Check this place out to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Hash Kitchen North Scottsdale

Hash Kitchen is one of our favorite spots to go for brunch. They have some really creative dishes such as the Cornbread & Carne Asada Hash and Smores French Toast. But one of the things you should definitely do is build your own Bloody Mary at the Bloody Mary Bar. You simply choose the type of vodka & spice level and then you get to top off your drink with whatever your heart desires (like ravioli & meatballs)!
