Sugar Bakeshop
Sugar has so many delicious sweet treats, including the absolute BEST cupcakes you’ll ever have. You cannot skip out on Sugar while you’re in town. My year-round favorites are the vanilla blueberry and the coconut. My absolute favorite flavor is grapefruit, which is available seasonally from December to August. I’m not saying you should plan a trip to CHS just to try one cupcake flavor, but I honestly wouldn’t blame you if you did! đŸ€·đŸŒâ€â™€ïž

Kaminsky's Dessert Cafe
Kaminsky’s has two locations - one Downtown and one in West Ashley (which is dangerously close to my house.) This is the perfect place for a casual date or girls’ night. They have an almost impossible to choose from menu, including specialty coffees, milkshakes, boozy dessert drinks, and sundaes. Or you can pick from the rotating pies, cakes, and other desserts on display at the front of the cafĂ©.

BKed has so many delicious treats on it’s menu - I love their PopTarts and donuts (their most popular menu item.) They do such a great job with offering new, unique flavors on a daily basis. You truthfully cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, but be warned, you will want to try EVERYTHING!

Christophe Artisan Chocolatier
A cozy café with delicious French pastries. I recommend grabbing a few macarons and enjoying them in the private courtyard out back!

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams
Even if the line is out the door, don’t skip going to Jeni’s if you’re craving delicious ice cream, free of synthetic flavorings and dyes. Jeni’s has year round classics, like chocolate and cookies + cream, plus an awesome rotation of seasonal flavors. I love their spring/summer additions, like lemon/blueberry and lavender!
