Shore Club South Beach
A lower cost hotel option (that is still nice and has a pool, beach chairs, etc) with great location right on the beach. I’ve stayed here a couple times with groups of girls and it’s perfect for what we wanted and needed. Sister hotel to Delano.

Wynwood Walls
Miami’s famous graffiti walls - perfect area to stroll around and snap some photos. I’ve gone at night to walk off dinner and it’s all lit up and beautiful.

Yardbird Southern Table & Bar
Southern comfort food at its best. Great for any meal, but ideal for breakfast / brunch to cure that post clubbing hangover with chicken and waffles.

Marion
On a Saturday night, converts from upscale European bistro feel to a dance party! Full of big group dinners (birthdays, bachelorettes) with DJ spinning right in the middle of the dining area. The party started picking up around 10pm - if you want to be a part of it, book a late res. Otherwise book early and you can escape the dance floor before it gets too crazy. A very fun vibe for a group night out, but not where you’d want to go for a quiet dinner (at least not on the weekends).

Alter
New American, located in Wynwood. Creative menu - has a few versions of a tasting course, starting with 5 courses (when I went for dinner on a Friday night, there was no a la carte options but they helped with simple substitutions for food allergies). Everything was delicious and a great “upscale” dining feel in a casual setting.

The Miami Beach EDITION
New 5 star Marriott / SPG hotel right on Miami Beach. I LOVED this hotel - two pools (one smaller / more kid friendly, one bigger and more adults), beautiful stretch of beach with chairs and umbrellas, and all the grounds and rooms were new, fresh and modern. Loved the little cafe for breakfast and afternoon snack, and you can order food and drinks at the pool / beach all afternoon.

Soho Beach House
Located right on on Miami Beach, Soho Beach House is part of the Soho House members club. It’s fun place to stay (hotel is open to the public), eat (multiple bars and restaurants on site), lounge (pool and beach are for members or hotel guests only), and relax (check out the amazing Cowshed spa). If you’re with a group, suggest booking a beach bed / cabana for the full day - fits 5 people, provides shade, and comes with a bucket or beers or bottle of wine!

Wood Tavern
Fun casual Wynwood bar with outdoor dance floor with DJ spinning up ‘90s and hip hop music. Went here after a great dinner at Wynwood Kitchen right across the street. Added bonus - they have a Mario Kart set up in the front bar :)
