One of the best spot in DC! This park can offer activites during any time of the year. Along the Potomac river you can follow the board walk or just take a sit and enjoy the boats and the sunset .

Jireh Bakery Cafe
This Korean bakery is one of my favorite hub for study and hang outs. They offer mouthwatering asian style bread and one of the best Thai Boba Tea I ever had. Spoiler their drinks are coming as default like smoothie !

Shenandoah National Park
Virginia give the best during foliage season. Between the end of September and the first week of October you must take a car ride on the Shenandoah Skyline Drive. This drive goes thru the national park, there are plenty of overlooks and hikes. Don't drive back home before has arrived to the Big Meadows, it's one of the most stunning scenery.

Jones Point Park
Small park and easy hike but you can really feel the DMV vibes here, if you want to try the thrill of being in different states simultaneously this is your spot. Walk to the cute white lighthouse and enjoy a wide view of the Potomac river.

This National Historical Park is only two hours drive from DC. Get ready to spend the full day here there is a lot of to see, walk and discover. It's the perfect combination between an open air museum and a park.

Bagel Cafe
Simply the perfect breakfast for 5.99. Two eggs any style with your choice of bagel and home fries. Ok that's the point, the bagels have original flavors and the perferct texture, not easy to find. If you want to dig more into taste you can try one of their flavored Cream Cheese Spreads.

7th Hill Pizza Palisades
Pizza in the States is overpriced in my opinion and this place offer very good pizza for only 6$ on Happy Hours.  After I said that the main reason is that they have the most filled Nutella Calzone I had in life! So, guys leave the space for the dessert !  The enviroment is kids friendly and it can actually be very noisy and caothic but if you are Au Pair you won't mind much.

Tysons Corner Center
This mall is enormous and good spot for a rainy day. If you don't come by Metro just get ready to struggle to find a parking spot on weekends afternoon.
