Seattle Aquarium
The acquarium is not the biggest one that I saw but is a good option to spend a rainy in. Finding Parking in this area of downtown is not easy search online before adding there.

Seattle - Bainbridge Ferry
A nice experience to do with your host kids. The price is resonable 8,50$ / 4,25$ round trip from Seattle Downtown to the island. The ride give you a nice panorama onto Seattle skyline. Once on the Island just walk around or stop by the playground. Don't forget to pack the lunch.
