Heritage Bicycles
Heritage Bikes is forever my favorite spot for coffee. Their coffee never disappoints, and I always find myself craving their iced coffee with oat milk. Each location is pretty & bright with white paint, natural light, and comfortable seating. Their main location is also a bike shop, but it doesn't take away from the relaxed feel of the space.

La Colombe Coffee Roasters
La Colombe coffee is popular around Chicago, sold in many restaurants and coffee shops, but their cafe locations are worth the trip - beautifully designed, cozy and have incredible coffee options. I love their draft latte with oat milk!

Colectivo Coffee
Colectivo is my favorite summer spot. Their location in Lakeview has a giant patio that is always buzzing with people eating lunch, studying, meeting friends and working. Their matcha is great and they have a good variety of lunch options for everyone!

Dollop Coffee Co.
Dollop has multiple locations and a solid go-to option. Their baked goods are famously great, and sold at many other coffee shops around the city as well! They have a great menu with the perfect variety of options for coffee and lunch. All of them have a bright, airy feel but my favorite location is in the loop between Plymouth and Dearborn - lots of seating and friendly staff!

Sawada Coffee
Sawada is a unique spot, almost hidden away in the industrial buildings of the west loop. It's open concept connects it to a smoked meats restaurant and the sought-after High Five Ramen, and has a darker aesthetic than most coffee shops, lit with hundreds of string lights overhead. The space is huge, with a few arcade games, large joint tables, riser style seating, and a great outdoor area in the summer. Try the military latte with macadamia milk:)

Ipsento 606
Ipsento is my perfect summer stop - take a walk on the iconic 606 trail, enjoy the sun and grab Ipsento's donuts and a coffee along the way. Minimal design and window seats make it just that much better

Limitless Coffee & Tea
Limitless is my new favorite spot to post up for work. Their space is bright and open with plenty of space to sit, and they have a menu that lets me stay there for hours - coffee, their own caffeinated sparkling waters blended into fizzy drinks, their unique lattes (i like the golden milk), and all day breakfast!

Werewolf Coffee
Perfect for Instagram shots AND great coffee. Their coffee bar is a food truck parked in their open space, the side door open for orders. You can take your unique coffee (rose-petal decorated beet lattes or black glittery charcoal lattes are the most popular) to a comfy sit-down area.

Hero Coffee Bar
I can't end this list without adding Hero on Jackson - my favorite instagram picture is of the alley opening up to this small, standing room only coffee spot, with glowing string lights leading to a lit "COFFEE" sign. I personally don't love their coffee, but their matcha is a go-to when I'm walking by this spot.
