Edmund's Oast Brewing Co.
Large space with great food options. Tap room features a wide variety of solid brews. Grab a pizza or sandwich in the tap room or hit up the other food options in the attached Workshop food court. A lot of outdoor “turfed” space for the kids to run around. Try the easy drinking Something Cold Blonde Ale, Singular Session IPA, Bound by Time IPA and Session Confection, an easy drinking, low ABV chocolate stout.

Tradesman Brewing Company
Nice taproom with plenty of bar stool seating (separated from the brewing tanks, so not the typical brewery smell) with large outdoor space with a separate bar to relax and drink some decent beer. Right next to I-26 so a bit loud outside, but still a good spot to hang. Overall the beer is fine with some different flavor twists. Try the Shift Change white coffee stout if you’re looking for something unique.

Fatty's Beer Works
Great taproom in the heart of the brew tanks with large open doors to an outdoor grassy area to drink in the sun and play some games. Decent beers. Try the Lazy Hazy for a down the middle NE Style IPA.

Westbrook Brewing Company
Charleston staple brewery. Well appointed circular tap room with retail selections. A lot of outdoor seating with food trucks when the weather is nice. Can’t go wrong with the One Claw Rye IPA or one of their refreshing Gose’s, but don’t miss the Rinse and Repeat IPA series or Mexican Cake if you’re looking for something bigger in a chocolate stout with a little habanero kick.

Revelry Brewing Co
Great open air tap room downstairs right alongside the tanks. Head up to the roof for a great view of the Ravenel bridge and plenty of taps. Solid food options and special events with additional space at The Hold tasting room and barrel house around the corner. Try the Never Sunny New England Style IPA, Lefty Loosey West Coast IPA and Poke the Bear American Pale Ale.

Ghost Monkey Brewery
Super laid back tap room in industrial park near the port. Kid and dog friendly with darts, pool and live music. Food trucks most days (check the website). Beer is decent, not killer (Zaikinator is solid down the fairway IPA), but the bare bones, cool vibe tasting room is worth the trip out to hang if the live tunes are on the menu.

Charles Towne Fermentory
Hands down best beer in Charleston. Cool tap room / bar with plenty of tables and games. Pop up food throughout the week. Cloudy, unfiltered New England IPAs at their best (Trillium roots) along with good stouts, lagers and others. Try Sungazer IPA, Breakfast Smoothie Session Frappe, Yacht Party Lager and Beagle Lander Pale Ale.
