A short hour and a half car ride away from Vancouver, Whistler is one of those places EVERYONE talks about. I kept saying but as you’ve heard before, I’m lazy. One day randomly out of the blue I ACTUALLY DECIDED TO GO! The drive itself is spectacular. You could stop a million times along the way (which I did!) There are rapids and little lakes and WATERFALLS! Everywhere you look there is astounding beauty!

Fairmont Chateau Whistler

I stayed at the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Whistler. This hotel is seriously a dream come true! Its set in the middle of the mountains, you can even see the chair lift from the room! The thing I liked best about this hotel though was the customer service! Being in the customer service industry myself, I can appreciate good service when I come across it! Every person I came across was so polite, kind and so attentive to detail! You definitely feel pampered here! The pool area was awesome (yet busy!) and the mango margarita was delicious (yet expensive!) I LOVED the bar/lounge area at night, complete with live music and bar nuts! Like who doesn’t love bar nuts????

Crêpe Montagne

Although the overall feel is casual, I had to dress up (like I always do!) Luckily I found a fancy restaurant and had an amazing dinner at Araxi. The next morning I had the best breakfast at Crepe Montagne just deliciousness all around really!
