one influencing factor why I love this restaurant beside the food, is because it is actually really close to the pier, so if you are sitting on the balcony you can enjoy the view of the ocean, which is a big plus. It has a bit higher price, than the above mentioned restaurants, still worh it.

Crab Daddy's

So I went to Crab Daddy’s with my roommate on one of the weekends, for a small celebration. I have to tell you I had doubts, BUT our server was really nice and helpful, she gave us as much time to decide on what we wanted to have as much we wanted. Since that was my first time there, and they have a great selection on appetizers and fresh caught fishes as well it really gave me a hard tim to decide what I want to eat. My friend told me to try out the shrimp and gritz appetizer, well I have had that before in another restaurant and to be honest it was not my favorit, but here it was just amazing. I’m glad I’ve tried it. Over all it is a really nice and family style restaurant. Perfect for a girls night out as well as a family reunion.

The Georgian Room at Sea Island

Since this is the only Forbes Five star restaurant in the state of Georgia, let me just give you a little bit of more information about the restaurant itself. The cuisine of the restaurant represents an European style of dining. The Chef de Cuisine designes the dishes, together with the whole culinary team, according to the standards of the restaurant itself. Also they did found a way to intoduce European flavours in the dishes as well. Together they showed that European cousine has a place in the United States even in Georgia. As I’ve mentioned it is located in the Cloister at Sea Island, but unlike the other facilities and restaurants of the hotel the Georgian Room is opened to the public. They require reservation ahead as well as a jacket for the gentleman, for the ladies there is no such a strict dress code, just dress up according to the occasion, so to say they will not let you in in jeans and T-shirts.
