Charleston
The city itself has an unrealistically charming vibe, it feels like that you have been there forever, even if that is your first time. It is vibrant, colorful and alive. The weather was beautiful perfect spring, eventhough the weatherforecast promised rain for that weekend. We did a bit of sight seeing, we went to the canon pier as well as the famous fountain of Charleston, which does look like as a pineapple. As you walk down on the Waterfront pier you can find those swinging chairs hanging from the roof of the pier. It looks so nice, the swings overlooks at the bay area, you can see ships coming in and going out, it is truly relaxing. I bet you have heard about the hurricane season, which happens yearly around here, so Charleston lies below sea level. Which means it can get flooded really easy, that is one of the reasons why Charleston has such a unique design of it’s buildings. By this I mean that ground floor is not a common thing to build, their house start on the first floor, which makes it a bit less easy for the water to ruin the enterior during floods.

Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina
We stayed at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina, the hotel looks really nice and cozy, we had a room which overlooks to the marina and the city center of Charleston. For two days everything felt perfect, the city, the hotel, the dinner what we had. Unfortunately we were not able to use the facilities of the hotel, while we basically stayed in the room just to sleep, other than that we were exploring the city and the neighboring area.

Minero
On the first day when we got to Charleston we had lunch at an awesome taco place there, called Minero. After lunch we wondered around Waterfront Park and Bay street mismerized by the colors of the houses and their view on the bay.

McCrady's
For dinner he booked a Chef’s table at McCrady’s where we had a blast, my first ever fine dining experience was something I’ll always remember. I have to say we were kind of a perfect match for that night, both of us dressed up really nice and casual; and those sparks, or was it only me? Well at least for a limited time I felt that the magic lasts longer than midnight. After dinner we went into the nightlife of Charleston and danced the night away

Patriots Point
The next day we explored the historic downtown of the city and the battleship at Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum. As we walked through the city we found ourselves at the city market, which claimed to be the “slave” market many years before. According to South Carolina Picture Project, no slaves were sold here. During the walk and the visiting of the museum we got hungry so we sat our mind to have something sweet.
