Scholars Keep
I had high expectations when I made a reservation here as people told me it was better than another local/farm2table restaurant FARM, but it did not disappoint. Scholar’s keep had a very nice, cozy dining room and tasteful cocktail menu, with just enough options. We had the truffle Mac n Cheese to share for a starter- delicious. My roommate and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and lamb burger to share and they were both amazing. The service was great and we felt comfortable staying at the table long past paying the bill to chat and finish our drinks. Overall, great place to go for a nice, upper-scale dining experience in Bloomington!

Crumble Coffee and Bakery
Crumble is a great place to have a coffee or get some work done! That have a lot of tables and it’s usually relatively quiet. I had the vanilla latte and it was very good and well priced!

Bru Burger Bar - Carmel
If you like burgers this is the place to go. There is one in Carmel but also one in downtown Indy. The Provençal is my favorite with goat cheese and sautéed mushrooms— delicious!

Mama Carolla's
Some of the beat Italian food in Indianapolis... no joke!! Their lasagna is to die for and also their stuffed mushrooms. Enjoy a glass of Prosecco and their tiramisu as well! This place is always busy so would suggest getting there when they open at 5 PM!

Function Brewing
Function has a wide selection of beers and great sandwiches. Also their coleslaw is amazing, which really surprised me. It’s a great place if your vegan or vegetarian!

Rosie's Place
Rosie’s is a staple. They have an amazing breakfast and plenty of pastries to take with you on the way. I always get the eggs Benedict and am never disappointed!
