Mill St. Brew Pub
Right in the heart of the Historic Distillery District, this brewery has yummy food and endless craft beer. A perfect place to go "out for a rip" with your friends both during the day and at night.

Lake Louise
No joke perhaps the most beautiful lake on earth. Glacial run off makes the water insanely cold (not for swimming), crystal clear, and super Insta- worthy. Weather is often iffy due to the mountain clouds often rolling in and out. But even if you don't catch a perfect full sunny day it is 100% worth the trip from nearby town of Banff. You can rent canoes to ride around the lake. This would be a very special place to get engaged. Bonus points if you do it ON the canoe (as I actually did!)...just make sure you don't drop the ring!

The Bison Restaurant
"Rocky Mountain Comfort Food" where they slow cook everything especially the bison. Best you'll ever have. Everything is made from scratch in house and they have plenty of fish options too. Apparently a yummy brunch on Sundays but we had a celebratory dinner on a Saturday and a friend actually got us a surprise bottle of champagne to toast our engagement!

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise
The ONLY hotel on Lake Louise. It is massive. One of the classic grand hotels of yesteryear but don't let that fool you. It's got all the amenities, an awesome spa, and clean views of the lake. Worth the extra dough to be on the lake itself.

WALLISER STUBE
One word...fondue! We had a fancy celebratory dinner here the night we got engaged. Make a reservation. Request a table with a view otherwise you're just in a backroom with no view.

Lake Agnes Tea House
Absolutely worth the hike from Lake Louise up the mountain valley to this tea house for lunch. It's off the grid and very rugged but in a charming way. Tasty food in the middle of the woods. Very very fun thing to do.
