Lahinch
One of the most scenic surfing spots I’ve been to- with beautiful green cliffs on either side, and within eye range of the world famous cliffs of Moher. Plus the locals were some of the most friendly people, and you can have a nice pint of Guinness afterwards

Galapagos Islands
I went to a few different surf spots and there was never a crowd! There are a great variety of waves and breaks (I was mainly at Santa Cruz Island) but without the crowds of a surfing island like Hawaii

Hanalei Bay
I enjoyed surfing on Kauai much more than near Honolulu where it was a bit more territorial and crowded. There were still spills here, but just the scenery is jaw dropping- plus the waves are world class. Would be a dream to live near here for a few months one day

Mundaka
A fantastic point break in northern Spain. Yes it’s inconsistent and can be crowded, but when it’s good it is unreal. I studied abroad close by- and skipped a birthday weekend at Oktoberfest to go back here one weekend just because of how much fun these rides are

Tamarindo Beach Costa Rica
Fantastic wave and surf town. I haven’t been here in a while but hope to go back this year- plus it’s cheap there, not to far from the US, and has awesome Airbnb’s to stay in
