- insane hike on separate island that is a day trip - hike takes you to gorgeous overlook of private island - have to go to Denpasar (capital where the airport is) to Sanur Beach to take the boat that would take you there

Temple Of Lempuyang Luhur
(you’ve seen pictures of it before on Instagram 100% guarantee. Best backdrop of a volcano in between two tall cool looking pillars that everyone stands in the middle of for a pic)

has a pool on the edge of a cliff with a glass bottom, it’s insane!! This place is usually really crowded so make sure you get here early. If you want to fly your don you have to pay for a pass and schedule it in advance otherwise they won’t let you. This place makes for epic shots and a unique experience

Uluwatu
farther end of the island so at least spend one night here to avoid traffic and DO NOT attempt to make uluwatu a day trip because you will regret it! There is so much to do on this end of the island and it’s so pretty that you don’t want to rush it

The Lawn
Yet another super trendy restaurant in Bali (aren’t they all??) but anyway, the food here is BOMB the seating and decor is to die for and the usually always have love music playing so the overall vibe of this place is fantastic

Potato Head Beach Club Bali
This was one of our go to places! It is really hard to get seats here because it’s so busy so make sure come early otherwise you will be standing the whole time. My friends and I loved this place for the drinks, the food, the amazing seating, the pool and the easy beach access! Highly recommend coming here for a sunset

Tegallalang Rice Terrace
The go to tourist spot and I can definitely see why. This place is magical and was one of my Bali highlights. It’s so dang cool to experience and obviously there are tourist trap sections but just enjoy its beauty for what it is while you walk around and avoid paying for the swing (unless you REALLLY want to do it lol)

Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
They tell you the monkeys are crazy here and you don’t believe them well let me tell you THEY ARE CRAZY MONKEYS lol. They are so smart that they’ve realized if they take something from a human that the forest guards with give them food in turn for the human item. They now steal items deliberately just so they can get food.
I loved the experience of this place though it’s something you will experience in very few places of the world where you can be so close to monkeys in their natural habitat. Just don’t wear hats or sunglasses or valuable/loose items and you will be fine!

Single Fin Bali
Surfers LOVE this place and I can see why! It has great surf around it (you can even watch them if you don’t surf) and it is the best place to watch the sunset in uluwatu. The food was subpar, but the view makes up for it so they don’t need to have great food. Also has a beautiful pool attached to it

La Brisa Bali
There is a cover to get in here but you get to use the cover money and spend in on food or drinks inside so it’s really like there isn’t a cover and it’s well worth it! This place is the definitely of trendy and I kid you not is busy 10minutes after it opens so let sure you get there early to reserve a spot. The pool, the decor, the beach, everything is so amazing and I would have stayed her all day if I could

Finns VIP Beach Club
Love this place! Really popular with tourists and a party you do not want to miss. Everyone that I know that has visited Bali went here at least once and love it too. The pool is fantastic, the ocean view is amazing and so is the sunset here!

Rock Bar Bali
my god - this place was amazing for the views and sunset and its literally unlike any bar I have ever experience before. You will not regret coming here for sunset but beware there is a dress code and it is always VERY crowded so make sure you are there early or else you will be way out of luck

Cafe Organic Bali
The cafe is so clean and it does the NICEST iced lattes I have ever had, 10/10. Everything on the menu sounds mouth watering & tastes even better. My favourites are the Uluwatu omelette & the sweet potato with guac. All the ingredients are so fresh, you feel great after eating there. Great healthy food - I’ll be back!

Sisterfields Cafe
This restaurant is a modern, trendy and lively place to eat for many tourists every day, breakfast and lunch. Not only does it have a vibrant and buzzing atmosphere, but great food too. The variety and quality of food it offers are stellar. Definitely, recommend visiting here for either breakfast or lunch.

They have the best asian food over Bali but also a lot of choice of healthy salad bowls and drinks. The location is also really nice as it's near Seminyak in a pretty quiet street. The place is very cosy and comfortable, nice to spend some good time and to work as well !

Clean Canteen Bali
I got to meet the owner when I was here and he was so nice!! You HAVE to try their signature acai berry bliss bowl because they do it differently than any açaí I’ve tried before. The chef is world renowned and said he started it because there is so much garbage “fake” healthy food other there that he wanted to make his legit. The place is also very trendy which is genius marketing because it’s a big spot for girls to take Instagram pictures

Tibumana Waterfall
This is one of the waterfalls that you are able to actually swim in!! Your jaw will drop when you get to this place because the falls are beautiful and way bigger than you would expect

Pura Luhur Batukaru
(great views, lots of monkeys and in uluwatu) the monkeys here are 20x crazier than the ones in the sacred monkey forest and I personally saw so many people get their things stolen that never got them back so beware! There is a scenic walk here that goes on for what feels like forever so you get all the great views of the edge of the island

That is a food coma well worth having. Everything including the venue, staff, food and wine list was top shelf. It’s not one of the cheapest places I have eaten at while in Bali but it is worth every cent. And for a bit of theatre get the nitro ice cream for dessert, you won’t de disappoint.

Gili Trawangan
You can take a boat here form Bali or fly (I flew) and you should at least stay on this island for 2 nights! A day trip will cut your time way too short you trust me you NEED to see a sunset here. It’s way different from Bali. The sunset are brighter, the ocean is clearer, the snorkeling is amazing and so much more! It is a party island so get ready to party and hangout at the beach. Icon swing pictures in the ocean that everyone takes are here

Mrs Sippy Bali
It was amazing when stepped into Mrs Sippy, I was welcomed by a big and blue pools with the iconic dive tower ranging from 1 m, 3 m and 5 m heights and surrounded by gardens and shady palm trees along with super cozy daybeds and wooden-style dining tables. In separate area, there are also two bars with several dining tables and high chairs. I didn’t know what I feel about this beach club, I just feel WOW, this club made me feel like I’m somewhere in that hippest beach club in Florida, USA hahaha…because this beach club is so soooo cool!

OMNIA Dayclub Bali
I’ve been to the Omnia in Vegas and in San Diego and this Omnia takes the cake!!! It’s brand new and literally on the edge of a cliff completely secluded overlooking t the beautiful ocean!!! It CANNOT get better than this!! It’s also relatively cheap to buy a table compared to American prices so I would suggest buying one and make sure you do it in advance because they are always sold out. They have gorgeous bars and 2 or 3 different lounging pools

Tirta Empul Temple
This is the classic tourist spot that you see In all of the pictures where people are bathing in the fountains. Highly recommend going here even though it’s bit on tourists because it truly is a local gem as well and it isn’t a tourist trap as much as it is a look into their culture and a way to truly experience it

This is the poppin place to be on the island! Where the main tourist area is and the main bars and clubs so you definitely need to make sure you stay out this direction for a few days to get the best experience possible

Motel Mexicola
Honestly we went here at least once a day when we stayed in seminyak 😂😂 it was relatively cheap and the food and drinks were so good!!! The restaurant is also very hip and trendy with its designs and it’s always such a poppin place that I bet you will want to come back too. HIGHLY recommend this place

Multiple story club and this is the go to spot where you should be ending your night! There is a cover and there is a dress code, but if you’re in Bali to have a wild night then this is where you need to go!

Mount Batur
Do the sunrise hike here!!! You have to get up at the crack of dawn but it’s so beautiful and honestly cmon how often do you get to hike a huge volcano to watch the sunrise??? You HAVE to do this and make sure you book your tour in advance

This place leaves you in awe from the chic atmosphere, the romantic lighting and the delightful staff. My friends and I enjoyed the feed me option which was fabulous. A lot of food but it was served artistically and showcased the flavors wonderfully! You must go here

Go to this beach if you want to head to Nusa penida!! It’s quite different then a lot of the other beaches on the island and it’s worth a visit and stay if you are already planning to be out that way anyway.
