Land of the smiles, which will put a smile on your face with every sunset enjoyed on a fine sand beach. Hard to describe it in just one paragraph because there is so much to see! Phuket is a popular region with some of the best beaches out there, Phi Phi islands are like a small piece of heaven and then there are the Similan islands which will make you feel like you're in the Maldives. Lots of stunning lagoons and cliffs from where to dive in the turqoise waters. Excellent snorkelling opportunities as well. The cost of living is significantly cheaper than in other european resort towns.

If you're a car enthusiat you're gonna love this country. Home of probably the greatest car manufacturers in the world, the german highways (autobahn) are the place where to take your car for a roadtrip. So much to explore, picturesque mountains and castles (eg. Neuschwanstein). The authentic food here is a dream and a pint of beer is a must, whether it's Oktoberfest or not.

France
The highlights of my experience in France were based on the French Riviera, or Cote d'Azur, how the locals call it. Diverse beaches, from pebble-based, to fine white sand, it has all that one could ask for. Not the cheapest resorts but it can be done budget-friendly. The old town parts of every city are ready to be explored and I can't think of a more romantic place where to take your significant other for an evening walk at sunset, by the palmtrees, than on the promenades of the coastal french towns.

Austria's capital, Vienna, has been ranked in 2018 as #1 the best worldwide city to live in, so that speaks volumes about the country's organizational system and all which it has to offer. Lots of alpine destinations throughout the country, from Zell am See to Zermatt and so many others. Great ski resorts. Countless castles and palaces such as the popular majestic Schönbrunn Palace.

For those who love spending time outdoors, the Kopaonik National Park will deliver. Especially during winter time, when it becomes Serbia's main ski resort with very affordable pricing for ski-passes and accomodation. If you're one of the geeks (just like me) you will enjoy the Nikola Tesla museum in Belgrade, where lots of his world-changing genius work is documented. The fortress located in the country's capital is also another top attraction to get to, with much history embedded and providing lovely views of the surroundings.

My homecountry so I might be a little biased here. No, but seriously, it is a highly underrated gem. It has incredible mountains to explore, especially during winter time - great ski slopes in Poiana Brasov, a true winter wonderland. Also home of the best road in the world - according to Top Gear - the Transfagarasan route, through Fagaras mountains. The legend of Dracula is still alive amongst the people who come here, so a visit to Bran Castle would be enchanting.

Although England has the perfect weather for cozing up under the blanket, sipping from a cup of tea and watching a movie, it would be a shame not to explore the natural and urban sights that this country has to offer. I like to think of London as an european New York City, with vibrant nightlife and lots of activities to do. Skip the long lines of overlycrowded touristic spots and head in lovely neighbourhoods such as Notting Hill or Kensington. Take the metro or an uber if you need transportation on a larger distance since they will be considerable cheaper than the regular black cabs.

Rainbow fields of tulips and great cheese. The first two things which came to my mind about Holland. Go to Keukenkof during tulip season and get ready to be blown away by its beauty. Take a boat cruise on the Amsterdam canals and don't forget to try the cheese from the local stores. The Netherlands is also home of some impressive museums hosting large collections of art: eg. Dutch National Museum, Van Gogh museum, Anne-Frank etc.

A budget-friendly country to visit, located on Danube river. It provides several historic spa towns, where for a relatively small fee you can relax in the thermal waters and free up from the built-up stress from work. Its main attraction is the capital, Budapest, with the Fisherman's bastion, St. Stephen basilica, Parliament Building and Buda Castle, all worth including in your travel itinerary.

Nothing compares to italian food. Nothing. I could easily recommand this country for the food only. But there is a lot more to be explored in Italy, a land rich in art, history, architecture. Whether you go to Milan, Venice, Como or Capri it will exceed your expectations in so many ways. The natural sights throughout Italy, especially along the coastlines are simply stunning.
