Howlin' Ray's
If you asked me what my favorite restaurant is in LA, I would tell you Howlin' Ray's. Now, Howlin' Ray's is not your typical hot chicken sandwhich joint, its a full experience. The line can range from 30 minutes to 2 hours, but do not let that intimidate you. Bring a friend to let the time pass by and you will be leaving much happier. The hot chicken sandwiches are phenomenal- make sure to get the sando. If you like spicy, I would recommend getting the spice level-medium, as I've heard anything higher than that is unbearable. Medium level is the perfect amount of spice. Now the customer service is another level. They have the friendliest workers that will make you feel truly cared for. This is a must try!

In-N-Out Burger
Of course if you visit California, you must get a burger from In-N-Out at some point. The burgers are tasty and cheap! I recommend getting a double double burger that is animal style (melted cheese, special sauce, and grilled onions) with french fries animal style. Get a pink lemonade to wash it all down or a chocolate shake!

The Boiling Crab
If you're craving seafood, make sure to stop by the boiling crab. They are known for their bags of shrimp that can be ordered by the pound. A popular style to order it in is called "the whole sha-bang"- perfect combination of garlic and cajun. Get a side order of cajun fries to compliment the shrimp.
