Arugam Bay Beach
Arugam Bay has so many surf spots to offer and they’re only a tok-tok ride away. Long right hangers manageable for beginners to advanced surfers, either surf break you choose you’ll have a great day. Beautiful scenery looking back to the land, seeing fishermen, boats, palm trees and my favorite, the sunset. Make sure you pack your sunscreen and maybe even a surf hat, it’s smoking hot during the day but a lovely surf trip getaway, if you’re up for the adventures

Brighton Beach
You’ll find so many perfect little beaches along the West side (bear Bridgetown) with white sand, palm trees, and crystal clear blue water, what more could you want. My favorite is Brighton beach, you can easily be isolated on the right day, feeling the warm water and sand between your toes whilst soaking up the sun looking out to the horizon, sipping on fresh coconuts, it’s picture perfect.

Jeffreys Bay
A world famous surfing spot that has a lot of history in regards to the surf culture to this day, of course this wave is for advanced surfers only. During winter is best: frosty but perfect waves with beauty all around. The BEST and biggest menu I’ve come across in a while at Nina’s Real Food restaurant/cafe/healthy/sushi shop, which is just up the road from the surf break. In a semi big down but with so much love for tourists and surfing. It’s easy to get around and a must to check out the souvenirs down at the end of town by the beach which include amazing shells, carvings, arts, and paintings created by talented locals.

Cloud 9 Surfing Area
A perfect right hander barreling wave suited mainly for advanced surfers, possibly on smaller swells, suitable for intermediate surfers. With a boardwalk that leads you to the paddle out area surrounded by coral reef, white sand and palm trees looking back, it’s a beautiful surf spot right on the corner edge of the bay. To me, when surfing and traveling around the globe, it’s the people that make the place special to me. The Cloud 9 locals are so helpful, caring, just down right great humans with such open arms.
