A very European style beach with lots to do around the beach including lively French style cafes right on the boardwalk, a few beautiful lookout areas, Hotel du Palais a historic beautiful hotel overlooking the beach with an amazing a la carts menu (although v $$$$$). Castles that overlook the beach and a beautiful walkway that goes around the cities shoreline that had a lot of history

A beach full of a vibrant atmosphere both during the day and night. With amazing fresh fruit juice bars and food stalls, which serve a coconut drink with a straw directly from inside a large green coconut, lots of Brazilian souvenir stalls and restaurants along the sidewalk where you can sit and watch the sun go down or find a place to soak up the sun along a stretch of the beautiful white sandy beach.
