Belmond La Residencia
A beautiful hotel nestled within the Mallorca mountain side. Pictures don’t do it justice. A great escape without the kids- we did for our baby moon! Great food and hotel coordinates day trips to town or the beach if you like... highly recommend Belmond as your hotel! We stayed at another hotel as well and wish we had been at Belmond the full time :)

Cap Maison Resort & Spa
We chose this Caribbean destination because of the direct flight from NYC (4 hours). A beautiful boutique hotel on the water with a private beach. The restaraunt has an awarded chef with a delicious menu each evening and a wine cellar. For lunch, there is a beach side bar called the Naked Fisherman, very fun! Great quick getaway with warm December weather! No need to leave the hotel :)

Montage Laguna Beach
Beautiful beach front hotel not far from town. Fly into LA and rent a car to Laguna, beautiful drive. Our tip - get a morning spa treatment and then gain access to the adults only pool for the day- away from the kids :) a much nicer experience if traveling without kids!!

Ocean House
Quick drive from Westchester County for a weekend getaway with your spouse (I suppose with the kids would be nice too!) Such an elegant hotel with a beautiful view. Our favorites - borrow a car for a quick drive around town - book a tennis lesson - and don’t miss the Sunday brunch. Book that in advance as it fills up!!

Bairro Alto
Bairro Alto Hotel is located in a great happening spot in Lisbon close to the different attractions. They also have a nice rooftop bar. Lisbon was an easy quick flight from NYC (5 hour flight) for a long weekend of sightseeing. The food market was amazing, we spent almost a full day there!

Savannah
Savannah was a great quick 2 night getaway from NYC. A charming small city (smaller than Charleston) with so much history. Be a tourist and do the 2 hour full city trolley to get your bearings. Have lunch at the Crystal Parlor, oldest bar in town for the Fried Green Tomatoes and other southern food. Dinner at the Olde Pink House (make a reservation). Happy Hour or post dinner spot - The Perch - a cute hip bar with a romantic rooftop setting in a pretty neighborhood.

Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle De France
The first trip my husband (boyfriend at the time) ever took. Stunning hotel with its own beach. Rent a Mini Cooper and make your way to all the beaches of the island!
