Rangitoto Island

is BEAUTIFUL. You take a short ferry ride which allows you to get up close to the blue water, and then you can enjoy one of their famous wineries on the island while getting a view of the skyline and North Island

has a BLACK SAND beach!!! The sand LITERALLY SPARKLES when you look down at it. It’s kinda trippy.
