The State Tretyakov Gallery
russian painting is as famous (in Russia) as music and literature from the 19th century. This gallery has many of the most famous paintings and is unlike anything you’ll be able to see in museums outside of Russia. Absolutely worth a visit.

Moscow State University
+ Views - one of the seven famous stalinist gothic buildings, they won’t let you inside but there’s amazing views of the city, huge parks / green areas and the building itself is quite impressive.
