it is a fairly small and relatively divey bar. Hosting nationally recognized bands and little-known local bands. It is one of the best bars in San diego for live music and since it is standing room only you can basically reach out and touch the performers

Moonshine Beach

This is a country bar and there are two locations in San Diego. One in Pacfic Beach and one downtown. The downtown location is a lot larger, with more games to play but the San Diego location Is still a huge hit as well. Before 10pm you can go in and learn how to line dance and enjoy a less crowded atmosphere before the nightlife begins. Even if you dont like country music I promise you you will still love this bar because I don't really like country music and I still enjoy it

The Shout! House

This bar is all about the music. Anyone in the audience can place requests for the performers, who sit at face-to-face grand pianos and perform classic rock all night long. The evn bring people from the crowd up on stage and that's when the real entertainment begins. Performers starting about an hour after doors open. There is no cover Sunday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. There are varying covers the other nights of the week, depending on when you get there and the night of the week ranging from $5-$10

Sets the bar high for upscale whiskey bars and on top of that has great live music. They have a calendar on their website with the list of performers. This place as a great ambiance and I would highly recommend going here for some of the best whiskey in San Diego

If you are looking for a bar with cheap drinks, good music, and a laid-back atmosphere, Bar Pink is the place to be. With live music every night at 9pm except Sundays, and no cover, this is a great spot to catch some of San Diego’s best local bands.
