The Dominion Post Ferry takes regular trips across the harbour over to Eastbourne. It also stops on Sommes Island a perfect place to have a picnic lunch on a summers day.

Destination Wairarapa
Take the train from Wellington up the east coast that heads up to the Wairarapa. I reccomend stopping at the small boutique town of Grey town. It is full of instagramable cafes and boutique shops.

Take the train from Wellington up the west coast to Paraparaumu and catch the bus down to the beach. Enjoy the view of Kapiti Island whilst enjoying a famous Kapiti ice cream.

Hoku Hawaii Tours Honolulu
If you want to do a tour of the Historic Pearl Harbour, I highly recommend you do this tour. They pick you up from your accomodation. Booking the Pearl Harbour tour gives you a guarantee to see the Arizona Memorial. They also provide a cooked lunch, and if you're lucky your guide may take you on a tour of the city whilst they drop everyone back to their hotels.
