Spruce Goose
Located out in Lyall Bay near the airport. This cafe is a great place to go and enjoy some good food (I highly reccommend the pork tacos) and watch planes land into Wellington.

Verve Cafe
Located on Lambton Quay this is your typical cafe but they make the nicest food (their chicken burger is the best). It is affordable and a good option if you don't want to go to a fast food chain.

Sweet Mother's Kitchen
Located at the top of Courtney Place this cafe provides delicious New Orleans and Mexiacan style food. On their menu they have a range of Po Boys for $11-$12.50 that are decilious, filling and a great option if you want to go out for a nice meal but are on a budget.

One Red Dog
This resturant is located on Queens Wharf and has an amazing view and makes the most amazing pizza and cocktails. Their pizzas are quite large and can be shared between at least two people.
